Neil G. Mitchill, Jr. is an independent director of 3M and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of RTX Corporation. He was elected to 3M's Board effective February 6, 2026 and appointed to the Audit Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee.
As EVP and CFO of RTX Corporation (since 2021), his responsibilities include financial reporting and controls, planning and analysis, investor relations, internal audit, tax, and treasury. He previously served as Corporate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Investor Relations of RTX (2020-2021), and held numerous financial leadership positions with United Technologies Corporation since joining in 2014, including Acting Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (2019-2020) and Vice President and CFO of the Pratt & Whitney business (2019). Prior to his corporate positions, he spent 17 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (1997-2014).
Mr. Mitchill received a B.S. in accountancy from Providence College.
