Constance E. von Muehlen is Executive Vice President and Advisor to the Chief Operating Officer of Alaska Airlines, a role to which she was elected in November 2025. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Alaska Airlines from April 2021 to November 2025. On September 25, 2025, she announced her intention to retire effective February 15, 2026, serving as Advisor to the COO to support an orderly transition of operational responsibilities as the Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines integration proceeds.
Ms. von Muehlen joined Alaska Airlines in July 2011 and has served in several roles, including Managing Director Airframe, Engine, Components Maintenance Repair and Overhaul of Alaska Airlines from December 2012 to January 2018, and Chief Operating Officer of Horizon Air Industries, Inc. from January 2018 to January 2019.
She was Senior Vice President Maintenance and Engineering of Alaska Airlines from January 2019 to April 2021 before being elected Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in April 2021.
