Shane R. Tackett is Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Alaska Air Group and Alaska Airlines, and is a member of Air Group's Management Executive Committee. On June 17, 2026, the Alaska Air Group Board of Directors elected him President of Alaska Airlines effective June 29, 2026; he continues as CFO of Air Group and Alaska Airlines, and assumes responsibility for Alaska Airlines' commercial division.
Mr. Tackett was elected Executive Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Alaska Air Group and Alaska Airlines in March 2020. He first became an officer of the company in 2011, when he was elected Vice President of Labor Relations. He joined Alaska Airlines in December 2000 and has held various leadership positions across finance, revenue management, labor relations, e-commerce and strategy over his 25 years at the company.
His roles have included Managing Director Financial Planning and Analysis from December 2008 to August 2011, Vice President Labor Relations from August 2011 to February 2015, Vice President Revenue Management from February 2015 to August 2017, Senior Vice President Revenue and E-commerce from August 2017 to September 2018, and Executive Vice President Planning and Strategy from September 2018 to March 2020.
