Adriane Brown has served as a director of Axon Enterprise, Inc. since 2020. She has been a Managing Director at Flying Fish Partners, a technology-focused venture capital firm, since 2020, having joined as a Venture Partner in 2018. The fund invests in and supports start-ups utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning across a variety of market verticals.
Ms. Brown previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Intellectual Ventures, an invention and investment company, from January 2010 through July 2017, and as a Senior Advisor until December 2018. Before that she served as President and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems from January 2005 to June 2009, holding leadership positions over 10 years at Honeywell serving the aerospace and automotive markets globally. Prior to Honeywell, she spent 19 years at Corning, Inc., ultimately serving as Vice President and General Manager, Environmental Products Division, having started her career there as a shift supervisor.
Ms. Brown serves on the boards of directors of American Airlines Group Inc., eBay Inc. and KKR & Co Inc., as well as the board of the International Women's Forum. She previously served on the boards of Allergan plc and Raytheon Company until 2020, and Harman International Industries until 2017. She holds an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters and a B.A. in environmental health from Old Dominion University, and a M.A. in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was a Sloan Fellow.
