Michael Garnreiter has served as a director of Axon Enterprise, Inc. since 2006 and is Chair of the Board. He most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Shamrock Foods, a privately held manufacturer and distributor of foods and food-related products, retiring from that position in December 2015.
From January 2010 until August 2012, Mr. Garnreiter was a managing director of Fenix Financial Forensics, a Phoenix-based litigation and financial consulting firm. From August 2006 through December 2009 he served as managing member of Rising Sun Restaurant Group, LLC, and from April 2002 through June 2006 he was Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the Main Street Restaurant Group. He previously spent his career with the international accounting firm Arthur Andersen from 1974 through March 2002, culminating as a partner.
Mr. Garnreiter has served on the board of Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. since 2003 and the board of Amtech Systems, Inc. since 2007. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from California State University at Long Beach and is a Certified Public Accountant. As a CPA and former Arthur Andersen partner, he has served on the audit committee of each board on which he has served and has extensive knowledge of SEC rules and regulations.
