Richard P. Keyes is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Meijer, Inc., a private regional supercenter. He was elected to the Boards of CMS Energy and Consumers Energy in February 2026.
Keyes first joined Meijer in 1989 and has held roles of increasing responsibility across the business, including in Pharmacy, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain & Manufacturing. He was elected President in 2015, a position he held until 2017, when he was elected to his current position as President and CEO. He is also an executive director of the Meijer board. Keyes brings more than 35 years of broad operational, strategic, and leadership experience to the Board, including extensive work in supply chain management and digital transformation.
