Gordon Smith was appointed an independent director of Comcast in February 2026 and serves as a member of the Audit Committee.
He is the former Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and the long-time leader of its Consumer and Community Banking franchise.
Earlier in his career he held various leadership roles at American Express, including over the U.S. Domestic Consumer Card and Global Commercial Card Businesses.
