Madeline S. Bell has served as an independent director of Comcast since 2016 and is a member of the Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committee.
She is President and CEO of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a top-ranked children's health system and research institute with annual revenue of $5.2 billion in fiscal year 2025 and more than 31,000 employees and other workforce members.
She began her career as a pediatric nurse in 1983, moved into hospital administration in 1989, and holds a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
