Minoru Kimura served as an independent director of Corebridge Financial and a Nippon Life designee from 2024, sitting on the Compensation and Management Development and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. At Nippon he has been Senior Managing Executive Officer, Head of Global Business since 2025, after serving as Managing Executive Officer, Head of Global Business (2022-2025), Executive Officer and Regional CEO for the Americas and Europe (2020-2022), and Head of Asia Pacific (2018-2020).
He held several general manager roles at Nippon covering international planning, treasury and capital markets, and separate account investment from 2014 to 2018, and earlier led investment and corporate planning at Nissay Asset Management Corporation from 2007 to 2014. Nippon notified the Company on March 11, 2026 that he would depart the Board effective April 20, 2026 in connection with normal personnel rotations; pursuant to the Stockholder's Agreement he was not compensated by the Company for his Board service.
