Christian H. Hillabrant has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Crown Castle since September 15, 2025, and joined the Board of Directors that same month. He brings more than three decades of leadership across wireless carriers, network-equipment providers and infrastructure owners.
Immediately before joining Crown Castle, he was CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Vantage Towers AG, a European telecommunications infrastructure company owned by Vodafone and a consortium of investors, from 2023 to 2025. From 2019 to 2023 he served as Chief Operating Officer of Tillman Infrastructure, a U.S. wireless tower company.
Earlier he was General Manager for the AT&T and Verizon accounts at Samsung Electronics America, and held various leadership roles at Ericsson AB, including EVP and COO for North America and Europe and a seat on the Supervisory Board of Ericsson Telekommunikation GmbH. He also served as a Regional Vice President at T-Mobile US. He holds a B.A. from Skidmore College and an M.B.A. from NYU's Stern School of Business.
