Tammy K. Jones has served as a Crown Castle director since 2020. She chairs the Nominating & Governance Committee and also serves on the Audit and Finance Committees.
She is the founder and CEO of Basis Investment Group, a multi-strategy commercial real estate private equity investment platform she launched in 2009, and one of the few woman-owned diversified platforms of its kind. Earlier she was Senior Managing Director and Head of the Capital Markets Lending Division at CWCapital, a Senior Vice President at a GMAC Commercial Mortgage subsidiary, and a Director at Equitable Real Estate Investment Management.
Over her career she has closed more than $25 billion in commercial real estate transactions. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, and chairs the Real Estate Executive Council.
