Katherine Motlagh joined the Crown Castle Board in 2025. She chairs the Finance Committee and serves on the Audit and Compensation and Human Capital Committees, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry.
She was previously EVP and Chief Financial Officer of data-center developer and operator CyrusOne, where she was responsible for accounting, finance, capital markets, tax, procurement and investor relations. Earlier she served as CFO for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America at American Tower Corporation, overseeing businesses in 18 countries, and held finance leadership roles at Ericsson, Nokia and Nextel Communications.
She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Financial University in Moscow, Russia, and holds an NACD Directorship Certification.
