Sunit S. Patel was appointed Crown Castle's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective April 1, 2025, and previously served as a non-employee director of the company from January 2024 to March 2025.
Before joining Crown Castle he was CFO of Ibotta Inc. and earlier served as EVP of Merger and Integration at T-Mobile USA. He was EVP and CFO of CenturyLink (now Lumen Technologies), and before that spent more than a decade as CFO of Level 3 Communications, rising from Group VP and CFO to EVP and CFO.
Earlier in his career he co-founded Looking Glass Networks, where he served as CFO until the company was acquired by Level 3 Communications in 2006.
