Kwanghooi (Hooi) Tan has served as Chief Operating Officer of Flex since October 1, 2024. Prior to that, from April 2022, he served as the company's President, Global Operations and Components. In connection with his assumption of additional responsibilities, he received a 5.0% base salary increase effective August 1, 2024, raising his salary from $700,000 to $735,000.
Mr. Tan has been with Flex for more than twenty years, serving as Senior Vice President, Global Operations from May 2016 until March 2022, where he managed more than 100 facilities across 30 countries, and previously leading operations for the company's Asia region, overseeing productivity and efficiency programs and P&L improvements.
Prior to Flex, Mr. Tan worked at Solectron, an electronics manufacturing company for OEMs, where he held a variety of leadership roles in operations, program management, business development and government affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
