Zachary Nelson served on the Freshworks board of directors since August 2021. He provided notice on December 17, 2025 that he would retire as a Class III member of the Board effective January 2, 2026 due to other commitments; his resignation was not the result of any disagreement on matters relating to the Company's operations, policies, or practices.
From July 2002 to June 2017 he served as Chief Executive Officer at NetSuite Inc., a business management software company that was acquired by Oracle Corporation in November 2016. He holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an M.A. in Anthropology from Stanford University.
