Catharine D. Ellingsen was named Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Republic Services in June 2016. She has been with the Company for over 25 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.
Prior to her current role she was Senior Vice President, Human Resources from August 2011 to June 2016, and held the position of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel from June 2007 to August 2011. Before joining the Company she was an attorney at Steptoe & Johnson LLP from 1996 to 2001 and at Bryan Cave LLP from 1993 to 1996.
