Dr. F.C. Tseng was TSMC's Vice Chairman from July 2005 to June 2018 and Deputy Chief Executive Officer from August 2001 to June 2005, and earlier served as the company's President from May 1998 to August 2001. He is currently Chairman of TSMC China Co., Ltd. and Global Unichip Corp. and Vice Chairman of Vanguard International Semiconductor, and holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from National Cheng-Kung University with more than 50 years in the semiconductor industry.
