Gregory K. Hinckley is an independent director and the Lead Independent Director of Bio-Rad Laboratories, serving on the Board since 2017. He is a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees, and the Board has determined that he is an audit committee financial expert. He has over 45 years of public company experience.
Mr. Hinckley retired from Mentor Graphics Corporation, a leader in computer automated software for electronics design, in July 2017 after 20 years with the company. From 1999 to July 2017 he served as President of Mentor Graphics, and from 1997 to 1999 he served as its Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Prior to joining Mentor Graphics in 1997, Mr. Hinckley served as Chief Financial Officer for VLSI Technology, Inc., a publicly traded integrated semiconductor device company, from 1992 to 1997, for Crowley Maritime Corporation from 1989 to 1991, and for Bio-Rad from 1983 to 1989.
