Melinda Litherland is an independent director of Bio-Rad Laboratories, serving on the Board since 2017. She is a member of the Audit and Legal & Regulatory Compliance Committees, and the Board has determined that she is an audit committee financial expert.
Ms. Litherland retired in 2015 as a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she had worked since 1981. She is a certified public accountant with 34 years of experience working with life science and technology companies in both audit and consulting capacities. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and previously served for 12 years on the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area, including on its Finance Committee.
The Company believes Ms. Litherland's extensive financial and life sciences background gives her the qualifications and skills to serve as a director.
