James Barry is Executive Vice President and President, Life Science Group of Bio-Rad Laboratories, a role to which he was appointed in May 2024, succeeding Simon May. He oversees the Company's Life Science Group.
Mr. Barry previously served at Bio-Rad as Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing Operations from 2022 to 2024, Senior Vice President, Quality Controls Division from 2020 to 2022, and Vice President/General Manager, Quality Controls Division from 2017 to 2020. Prior to joining Bio-Rad in 2017, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Beckman Coulter, a Danaher Corporation company and a global life sciences and diagnostics innovator, from 1999 to 2017.
Mr. Barry holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
