Rejji P. Hayes served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CMS Energy and Consumers Energy from May 2017 until his retirement from those positions effective June 3, 2026. In February 2022, he also assumed responsibility for the oversight of the Operational Support function (including fleet, safety, real estate, and facilities) and the Supply Chain function.
Within the CMS Energy group, Hayes served as Chairman of the Board and Director of NorthStar Clean Energy from July 2025, and earlier as its Executive Vice President, CFO, and Director from May 2017 to June 2024. He also served as Chairman of the Board and Director of EnerBank from October 2018 to October 2021. He was succeeded as CMS Energy and Consumers Energy CFO by Srikanth (Sri) Maddipati, effective June 3, 2026.
